
Kazakhstan Travelogue: Episodes 3 & 4
September 10, 2007It was another fairly easy day for me in Central Asia. My main task was to conduct two print press interviews at the consular station in Almaty. This used to be the home of the US Embassy, but it was recently moved to Astana, to be close to the new capital of Kazakstan. Almaty used to be the capital and it remains the cosmopolitan center of this nation. With the batteries dying in my camera, I was able to shoot two short videos while driving through the busy streets around midday today.
